When we talk about fitness, the only image gets framed in our mind is diet, tasteless food, tiring exercise in gym and treadmill. Is that fact? If you ask me, then a Big No. Let me help you understand this in a better way.
I always wanted a muscular body like movie& TV actors, models which I find every guy aspires for and I really worked hard from 2007 to 2009 and achieved the muscular body. Supported by Trainer off course with lots of Do’s and Don’ts and strict discipline. At the end, you have to sacrifice something to gain something.
Guess What; The life changed with all other prioritize and I stopped working out. Resulted into massive weight gain from 62 KG to 92 KG. Gained so much of fat despite having good knowledge on health and fitness. Never realized that gradually I became a fatty guy who is not able to wear the latest fashion and shirt buttons feels like will burst in few seconds from belly.
This is common and you might be one of like me who aggressively worked out to have good muscles and left later resulted into massive weight gain.
In Dec 2016, I realized that Fitness is not about short-term goals, eating that tasteless food, take protein and build muscles and then one day you get bored of that and that makes you look more worsen than before. However; at this age (33 Years old) the first goal was to lose weight and get back to track.
Finally, started all over again in Jan 2017 and here is the transformation. Lost 19 KGs in 6 months from 92 KGs to 73 KG which is perfect BMI weight.
This is not miracle but the journey of fitness and still on without sacrificing tasty food though bit different from what others eat. My Next Goal now is to build muscles and maintain that forever.
I have learnt a lot in this period and with my prior experience and I am glad to be on this blog which can help me share the knowledge with all of you who has similar goals and looking forward to being fitness freak. I am sure you will be able to transform yourself by following my articles and implementing them honestly. Trust me, I will try and make it interesting as much as I can which will never make you feel bored and you will not leave this in between.
So, are you thinking that I will be talking about sacrificing your favorite food and achieve results?
Nope. It’s all about making minor changes in your lifestyle and guess what; you can enjoy your favorite meals as well and make your every meal delicious than routine food which gets cooked at your home.
Let’s Make Fitness a way of life rather targeting weight loss or muscle building for few months and then leave.
