“So tell me about yourself”
This is the most common question probably you all have faced during interview. Isn’t it? May be this line sounds very simple, but, it can really make you sweat especially in an interview. Make sure that whatever you share with interviewer doesn’t build your rapport but, at the same time you have the ability to show that you’re perfect fit for the job.
So, are you the one who has gone through number of job interviews? If yes, then, tell me about yourself would be the familiar question. However, this is something that appears so easy, but, becomes a tough nut to crack if words run short at that time. This is no doubt the question that can either make or break your job interview.
The best method to answer this question is not to concentrate much on the points that have already been highlighted in your resume. As your particulars have already been described in detail, so obviously, no one wants you to be vocal it again and again. Create an answer that actually caters the requirements of the organization and its people. Be specific and clear and always try to focus on your attributes that can directly or indirectly fulfills the company’s requirement.
Before going for the interview think about the ways on how your skills can bring profit to the organization. Scrutinize the position you are applying for. Try to add more and more your positive traits and deliver constructive answers. Ensure that your traits, experiences, skills set a mark on the recruiter even after the interview.
