India Needs Serious Reforms In Education System!

Indian education means only mugging up the subject just to secure more marks. Have we ever thought, are we acquiring knowledge from whatever we are studying? I hope the answer from majority of us will be No. Obviously, this is not the fault of students; it is only the administration that has made us the manner to take up the studies in such a way. Wherever or whatever sector you indulge in for jobs, the first and foremost thing that appeals the panel the most is percentage/marks. Everyone is just hoarding to secure more and more marks and no one is bothered of gaining knowledge. What a demeaning process of our Indian education!

If India needs to attain vision in education, it is essential that with reforms, it must bring sort of revolution in education sectors. Mind it, the reforms are needed from the root itself. Our education system has become spoon feeding to such an extent that everyone is concerned of scoring in the examination, rather than acquiring knowledge.

How many of the Indian schools, colleges and universities are liable to offer practical knowledge to students? Hardly few and can easily be counted on fingertips. Though theoretical knowledge is necessary, but, one can’t ignore the aspects of practical knowledge that simplify the process of understandings. For example, every year en number of engineers and doctors come up with their degrees, but, how many of them are blessed with satisfactory jobs? This is only because of lack of practical knowledge.

Have anyone stressed upon why Google or Microsoft is not an Indian company? This is only because India lacks innovation among our students. We are only focused upon mugging up rather than showing creativity.

It is high time to take effective measures to provide quality education to all.

This will not only enhance the individual’s knowledge level, but, also increase the development of the country.

• Teachers should be trained in quality manner and computer aided technology should be inculaceted in the education system.
• Learning to learn concept should be initiated from primary level of education.
• It is essential that teachers must incorporate visual and physical activities to make lessons more interesting.
• Educating in mother tongue is one of the efficient ways to make learning easier. This will help students to grasp up information easily.
• Overcome on weak infrastructure and inadequate academic attention.

Poor quality teachers in government schools are another drawback in pipeline deteriorating the level of Indian education. Low salaries, inadequate facilities and improper infrastructure are unable to attract top quality teachers for government schools. In order to offer quality education. Government must spend more money from its treasury on education.

However, India known to be a developing country, but, what is that one thing that is restricting India from becoming a developed country? It is none other than flaws in Indian education.I really wish that government should implement effective measures in reforming the quality of Indian education; otherwise, India will always remain stunted from basic capabilities.

It’s high time now; Let’s unite to bring revolution in our education system!
