The Rupee has lost 6 Paise to end at 61.93 against the US dollar in early trade on 28th November 2014.
Extending its losing streak for the fourth session, on November 28 in early trade, the value of rupee has been depreciated by 6 paise to trade at 61.93 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market. This has been resulted due to the sustained month-end demand for the American currency from importers. According to the forex dealers, “Besides, dollar’s spurt against other currencies overseas and a lower opening in the domestic equity market also counterbalance on the domestic currency.
The rupee has softened by 3 Paise to confine at 61.87 against the greenback in 27 November’s trade on month-end dollar demand from importers amid weakness in local equities.
Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex ooze by 326.61 points, or 1.14 per cent, to blow a new life-time high of 28,765.52 in opening trade on November 28.
