California is a gorgeous state and it is also the home of many of the United States’ top tourist draws and attractions. Because it is a large state, with varying climates and terrain, it has a plethora of things to do and places to go that are all unique to its particular location. So, whether you enjoy the mountains, the beaches, star spotting, or family entertainment, the Golden State has you covered with many luxurious options right at your fingertips. If you’re having trouble deciding, or just want to see what’s out there, here are just a few ideas for spending your Golden State getaway in high-class style:
Visit the Beaches
The sprawling coastline of California is dotted with several sun-kissed beaches that attract an influx of travelers at all times of the year. Imagine enjoying the panoramic views, swimming in the ocean, or just resting on the fine sand soaking up rays.
While there are private beaches you can pay to get into, there are also over 400 public waterfronts to choose from, so you are sure to find the perfect spot for resting, partying, or both. After all, many beaches are populated with bars, water parks, and small shops and boutiques, as well. You’ll be able to have fun on the beach and then rest, refuel, or take a break for something new along the many tourist attractions that add to the adventure of going to the beach. For example, the Santa Monica pier has a plethora of things to do, up to and including carnival rides like the Ferris Wheel.
There are so many cool activities that you can try out in Cali that you will never have the opportunity to do elsewhere. For example, you could board a seaplane tour over Marin County or San Francisco, or sail aboard a private yacht in Monterey Bay. Or, you can try renting a Tesla to drive down the scenic Pacific Coast Highway. Another fun idea is riding the Napa Valley Wine Train while sipping premium vino!
It doesn’t even matter what part of California it is that you are staying in, whether you need suites near Anaheim Convention Center, a snow-covered mountain cabin in Pine Crest, or an oceanside villa in Santa Monica, you will certainly find a fancy, luxurious spot to stay within the borders of this wondrous West Coast paradise. You’ll find attentive customer service, cool swimming pools, and large, comfortable beds among the many inns, hotels, and vacation rentals you can choose from. Depending on how long your vacation goes, you can even try a little of everything as you travel by booking different types of venues.
Last, but definitely not least, there is a vast sampling of spas, saunas, and resorts around the state that will allow you to soothe your body and mind with class. This can be great after a day or even a week of adventure. You can find refuge from the trappings of everyday stress through calming massages, seaweed body wraps, a chocolate body mask, acupuncture, aromatherapy, or a milk bath. It all depends on what you find the most relaxing and what you think will be great for your body.
In conclusion, these are just a few ideas for the many things that you can do and see on your luxurious California vacation. Because it’s a captivating state, and there are so many enjoyable attractions, you know you will never be bored for long. All it takes is a few internet searches to know exactly what you’re up for and a map so you can plan your route accordingly.
