Airtel Announces Aggrandizement in Post Paid Rental Plan by 12% from December

Bharti Airtel, the country’s biggest telecom operator has announced an escalation in the post paid monthly charges by 12% in selective plans. It will be operative from 3rd December 2014 where the bill plan rental for your Airtel mobile will be revised from Rs 199 per month to Rs 224 per month. Airtel has depicted that tariffs will be elevated for few low cost rental plans in Delhi/NCR, but there will not be any form of change in the benefits being offered.Within a period of 3 months, Airtel has jumped a second hike in rates.

In September, The company has increased mobile internet rates by up to 33% but has diminished benefits within plans for pre-paid customers. It has been noticed that in the past two years, an increase in the telecom services rates has become more persistent. Moreover, the hike in the tariffs by various telecom operators these days are believed to be because of huge amount spent by operators.
