Do keep in mind these tricks for a smooth journey. Camping not a very popular practice in India, might need some serious thought when it comes to planning such a trip. Still quite popular among youngsters, sharing some customary camping practices could do no harm. So, here are some particular aspects to keep in mind before you plan for a trip with your college friends.

Trips are supposed to be relaxing and randomly booking an outstation taxi can work wonders sometimes. Travelling for fun is just one thing but travel also opens your mind to many closed doors. India is known for its lush and undiscovered serine scenic beauty, which offers travelers a chance to explore not just the natural world but also oneself.

The practice of camping has recently met student interest in India. For us camping begins with trekking and staying on the hill top for a night or two. The most popular camping destinations in India include places such as Triund, Ladakh and the Rishikesh Valley. It all depends on the degree of trek you choose to take over. But camping is not that simple, especially in cold parts and some precautions must be kept in mind when planning for a camp out.

Some things one must keep in mind when organizing for a camping trip are as follows:

Try Waterproofing Everything

At least try out proofing your bag and yourself, the tent will do the rest of the job. If you are camping, get ready to experience a lot of adventure. One thing you will see and feel is dampness, so I suggest try not to get your personal things wet because then it becomes very difficult to survive. Carry a waterproof bag and bring waterproof jacket with you. Rain is very common and weather news is not always reliable in these areas.

Extra Hat and Gloves are a Must

Spares always help in extreme weather conditions. It won’t matter how well you are prepared or how well you might know the terrain, emergency clothing always helps. You might not get it now but you will thank me later. And the weather conditions are not always friendly, so might need some spares.

Sleep with your Boots on!

Don’t expect that you might feel comfortable if you do not keep your shoes on. Nothing is worse than morning hypothermia. So, do not try to be extremely adventurous and keep your boots on while sleeping. It is a great tip, do remember.

Use Candlelight

A candle lantern can be extremely safe when it comes to keeping your tent warm. Just make sure that the lantern is at a safe distance from the ceiling of the tent and as well as from where you are sleeping. In addition, it helps with keeping the condensation away.

Use Lithium Batteries

If you are camping in an extremely cold place, then this is a must. Lithium batteries would be the most dependable option for your electronics. They are lighter and last three times longer. So, nothing can be better for someone who is camping and do not have to bother about their electronic devices.

Camping is trending in India and is generally taken over by students or foreigners. But, I am trying not to limit the scope; anyone can camp if they want. It is just about the degree of trek you choose and your will to complete it. Keep your goals realistic and friendly and nothing would seem difficult.
