According to the latest figures, more than 2.25 billion cups of coffee are consumed worldwide every day. Each coffee aficionado has his or her preferences when it comes to the perfect cup of joe. Some veer toward dark roasts whereas others prefer a nice breakfast blend. Certain java addicts choose espresso while others would rather enjoy an aggressively sweet latte.

Having said all that, there’s one variety that stands out from the crowd for almost all coffee drinkers: Colombian. It lends itself to the perfect cup no matter what the occasion may be. From waking people up and coaxing them into their daily routines to rounding out an amazing dessert after dinner, Colombian coffee just sets itself apart.

What Makes Colombian Coffee So Incredible?

Several variables factor into the equation when determining the perfect cup of coffee. Though some of them revolve around the way the beans are ground and brewed, those are only a couple of important considerations. Certain other aspects come into play to make Colombian coffee a stellar alternative. Columbian coffee is so delicious, it really helps wake you up when you need the caffeine too. There is always room for some Columbian coffee in your cupboard.

Perfect Growing Conditions

Colombia happens to have the perfect climate and soil for nourishing a coffee crop to fruition. It offers warm, relatively mild temperatures, abundant rainfall, and soil that’s impeccably balanced to meet coffee’s distinct growing needs. You can technically grow coffee in many corners of the country, but it just won’t taste the same. The rich soil and abundant precipitation lead to incredible harvests of coffee beans. If you have never tried Columbian coffee, do not hesitate any longer. Go get yourself some forthwith.

Offer Optimal Quality

Two primary types of coffee beans exist: arabica and robusta. Arabica is the higher-quality variety. It has a better flavor and is more acidic than robusta. At the same time, the quality of the blend itself is superior to other types of coffee. Many coffees contain not only beans but twigs and other debris. When you purchase a 2 lb bag whole bean Colombian coffee, though, you’re only getting the beans themselves as opposed to a pound of beans mixed with a pound of ground sticks.

Superior Harvesting Processes

Additionally, coffee growers in Colombia take great pride in their products. They harvest all the beans by hand rather than using a harvesting machine to shake the beans from the trees. That means you get the best product possible without any beans that aren’t yet ripe or have already passed their prime. Harvesting can make a big difference in the world of coffee.

Several varieties of coffee are available these days, and you’ll find an endless list of brews and flavors to choose from. None of them can hold a candle to Colombian, though. It’s made of the best beans, grown in an optimal climate, and handled with care. All those factors truly shine through in its superior flavor.
