School is a time of hustle and bustle. From classes to socializing, there’s always something going on. But amid all the craziness, you manage to excel. And your hard work is rewarded with awards and accolades. But what do you do with all these awards? Stash them away in a drawer, or display them proudly for all to see? If you’re looking for ways to show off your accomplishments, here are five elegant ways to display awards from your academic career.

Hang Them on a Wall

This is a simple and effective way of displaying your awards. You should have a few nails and some picture-hanging wire, and you’re good to go. You can arrange your awards in a grid, or get creative and hang them in a unique pattern. Either way, your awards will be displayed for everyone to see.

To ensure your awards don’t get damaged, it’s important to use the proper hanging hardware. Picture hanging wire is a good option, as it’s designed to support the weight of frames and other wall decor. Nails are also an option, but make sure to use the proper size and type for the wall material. Your awards will be safely secured to the wall with the right hardware.

You should also ensure your awards are hung at the proper height, too. If they’re too high, people will have to strain their necks to see them. And if they’re too low, they might get damaged or knocked off the wall. It is advisable to hang them at eye level. This way, they’ll easily see without being in the way.

Frame Them

Framing your awards is another way to preserve them and keep them looking their best. It’s also a good option if you want to display multiple awards in one place. To create a framed display, choose a large enough frame to accommodate your awards. Then, add a mat board or other backing material to the frame. This will provide a space for you to arrange your awards. Once everything is in place, close the frame and hang it on the wall.

You can also consider a variety of Church Hill Classics if you want a custom frame. They offer a wide range of framing options, so you’re sure to find something that suits your needs. Plus, they specialize in framing diplomas and certificates, so you can be sure your awards will be properly displayed.

Display Them on a Shelf

If you don’t want holes in your walls, another option is to display your awards on a shelf. This works well if you have a few awards, as you can arrange them however you like. You can add other items to the shelf, such as photos or plants, to create a more personal display.

When choosing a shelf, make sure it’s sturdy enough to support the weight of your awards. You don’t want the shelf to collapse under the weight and damage your awards. Also, be sure to measure the shelf before you buy it. This way, you can be sure your awards will fit on the shelf and won’t look cramped or cluttered.

Put Them in a Shadow Box

Shadow boxes are a great way to display multiple awards in one place. They’re also a good option to preserve your awards, as they’ll be protected from damage.

Start by choosing a frame when creating a shadow box display. Then, add some padding to the inside of the frame, such as foam board or fabric. This will help keep your awards in place and prevent them from shifting. Once the padding is in place, arrange your awards however you like and close the frame.

You can also get creative with your shadow box display. For example, you could add other items, such as photos or mementos, to personalize the display. Or, you could use colored fabric or paper to create a background for your awards.

Turn Them Into a Wreath

If you’re looking for a more creative way to display your awards, you could turn them into a wreath. This is a great option for holiday decorations, or you could even display the wreath year-round.

To create a wreath, start by choosing a base. A Styrofoam wreath form works well, but you could also use a wireframe or a paper ring. Once you have your base, start attaching your awards to it. You can use hot glue, tape, or other adhesives to secure the awards in place. Once everything is attached, hang up your wreath and enjoy your creative display.

These are just a few ideas for displaying your academic awards. With a little creativity, you can create a perfect display for your home or office. So get creative and show off your hard-earned awards!
