This feature allows users to set a time on a text or image chat for 15 seconds. Until the recipient presses the message for long duration, it will remain latent and will stay in the BBM chat until the timer gets expire. Once, the timer runs out, the sender message will no longer be visible to the recipient.
  • Message Retraction enables you to pull back something that you have sent via message. As soon as you retract it, the message gets disappear from the chat of the recipient. This feature will prove beneficial for the user who has accidentally sent a message or an image to a wrong person. In order to retract the message, the user simply needs to tap and hold on the message he wants to retract and then click on the “retract icon” appearing on the right side of the screen. This way the message will be deleted from the chat thread.
  • The user receives warning as soon as the BBM identifies that the receiver has taken the screenshot of the image or message.
  • Remember that both these features are designed to erase the messages or pictures from the receiver’s BBM chat view. But it won’t restrict the recipient from capturing the content image either by taking its screenshots or through image capture device.
  • Retracting the message after read by the recipient will only erase it from the chat view but it won’t disturb any of the copies of the message if the recipient has already saved on the prior basis.
