No one likes a crawling PC. No one wants to wait for ages before logging into his PC. And no one ever wants to see his PC crashing and freezing while working on it. Therefore, to solve all these problems it is recommended by experts to tuneup and optimize a PC from time to time. Now since manually optimizing a PC is not everyone’s cup of tea, therefore there are various system optimization tools available in the market that optimize the PC within a few clicks. In this article we are going to compare two such system optimizing software, based on our test results.

One is IObit Advanced SystemCare and the other is Systweak Advanced System Optimizer. So without further ado let’s start our journey to find out which PC optimization tool suits your needs.

User Interface and Design

Interface and Design

When it comes to interface and design both the products have a clean and neat user interface. However, when it comes to user friendliness then Advanced System optimizer has an upper hand as all the optimizations options seem to be systematically arranged unlike in the case of Advanced SystemCare, where you need to dig out them. Also, the default skin of Advanced Systemcare which they call as Classic is dark blue in color and doesn’t suit the eyes, whereas the skin color of Advanced System Optimizer although looks old fashioned but still impressive and suits the eyes. Also the one click optimization module i.e. Smart PC Care of Advanced System Optimizer is one that we found most useful. This module alone can perform an all round optimization of your system, that includes registry cleaning, driver updation, disk defragmentation, spyware cleaning etc.

Optimization of PC

After user interface lets now talk about optimization of PC, for which both tools are developed for. In this segment, we found a neck to neck competition between both Advanced System Optimizer and Advanced SystemCare. Both have various modules that clears the junk files from your system, deletes invalid registry, defrag the hard drive to update the performance of your computer. Apart from that both have a module that optimize the startup items of your PC, and in turn helps in faster booting of your PC that was earlier taking longer due to a lot of items running at startup. The cleaning of junk files along with defragging of harddrive improves the data allocation and read write speed of your hard drive which results in boosting your PC performance.

System Security & Privacy

This is another area that both of these system optimizing tools take care of. Both tools have an inbuilt module that helps you remove the caches and cookies from your browser resulting in making all your internet activities private and more secure. Now talking about the protection against the malware and other threats both Advanced System Optimizer and Advanced SystemCare have anti malware and antivirus modules respectively. To further keep your PC protected from all the recent threats both the tools keep on releasing latest definitions regularly. Another noticeable feature that we found in both the tools is to permanently delete the files so that can’t be recovered even by a file recovery software. Advanced System Optimizer claims to have military grade technology to delete the files permanently from your PC.

Recovery And Backup

Have you accidentally deleted some of your important files? No need to panic as both of these tools keep you protected here as well. Both the tools have an undelete module that helps you in recovering accidentally deleted files not only from your computer but also from external drives. Apart from that, Advanced System Optimizer has one other module that helps you to backup valuable data, documents, system and other files with an option to easily restore them whenever required.

Price

Now finally lets come to the pricing for both the products. While on one side a single license of Advanced System Optimizer will cost you 39.95 USD, while for Advanced SystemCare you have to pay $16.77. Also, license keys for both the products have a validity of a year and can be used on only one PC. Additionally, both the products are backed up with 60 days money back guarantee. This means if the product doesn’t suit your requirements then you can ask for a refund as per money back policy.

Conclusion

Undoubtedly, both the products have advanced scan engines and are packed with various modules that help you in optimizing your computer and improving its performance. However, the only problem that we feel with IObit’s Advanced SystemCare is that to use most of the module it asks you to install a new product on your PC, which is not in the case of Advanced System Optimizer. Once you install Advanced System Optimizer you can access all its modules without installing any additional software. Also, Advanced System Optimizer consumes a lesser amount of disk space and is light on your system resources when compared to Advanced SystemCare.
